- Brownfield Partners serves as Environmental Manager of WLT, LLC, a Special Purpose Entity used by an outside and an institutional investor in Rustick, LLC. WLT was created to provide a portion of the capital required to acquire, upgrade and expand the McKean County Landfill, located in Mt. Jewett, PA.
- As Environmental Manager, Brownfield Partners supervises and advises on all environmental aspects of the Company’s business by creating s reports and recommendations to the Members of WLT with respect to these matters. Specifically, Brownfield Partners reviews monthly environmental and financial data on the Landfill provided by Rustick, as well as prepares a monthly Environmental Manager report to WLT and the institutional investors. This report addresses compliance status, the findings of monthly landfill inspections performed by the PADEP any Notices of Violation, operation and performance of the landfill gas management and leachate treatment systems, along with the status of the expansion permitting process and monthly tonnage and revenue vs. plan. The scope of work also includes the conduct of a biannual site inspection, which includes an on-site update of all of the above environmental and business issues and a comprehensive inspection of the landfill operations.
- Further, as Environmental Manager, Brownfield Partners provides a degree of protection from environmental liability to the other member of WLT.
